Mirrors Edge 2 Might Just be Happening

Mirror’s Edge was not a ‘great’ game—it had its share of flaws, but it was one of the most innovative in recent memory and in more ways than most people thought. Not only was the climbing and jumping stuff singular, but the shear focus and breadth of embodiment, of really making the player feel like …

Xbox+Windows Phone=Integration App

There’s a cool, new feature of debatable value coming to an Xbox near you, assuming you own an Xbox and/or your concept of near includes your neighbor’s son’s bedroom, which is a little creepy by the way—I’ve been meaning to call the police. Anyways, in an Xbox promo video, there’s a sequence which demonstrates some …

PS3 Stuck in Third

Sony’s PS3 never did work out quite like they expected, and the price combined with the late release have always been cited as a major causes of this. Despite its unpopularity, the PS3 is undoubtedly the most powerful console on the market. Its build quality is far better than the 360, and with some genuinely …

Jurassic Park: The Game Has a New Trailer

Telltale Games have just released a new trailer for Jurassic Park: The Game. In Which We Interview That Game Company

That Game Company is known for having a unique approach to game development, creating titles that contrast directly with the violent adrenalin-maximizers that many studios produce. (And there’s nothing wrong with adrenalin-maximaizers; don’t get me wrong.) Instead they’ve made the short, thoughtful games Flow and Flower. We’ve got an interview with some of their staff, …

Digital Extremes, the Ontario based co-developer of the classic Unreal Tournament and Bioshock franchises, announced the release date for The Darkness 2, the sequel to the brilliantly scripted and unfortunately buggy The Darkness, which was developed by Sweden’s Starbreeze Studios.
