Ubisoft has just announced that its mobile naval game, Assassin’s Creed Pirates, is now free-to-play. This announcement was made alongside the game’s recent content update. The update lets players explore the Arctic Sea and features new characters and upgrades. With the changeover to the free-to-play model, the game now uses in-app purchases using coins. Now, I can’t say that I’ve really heard much of anything on this game at all, so it must be a good move to this a free-to-play game. There have been many times where I’ve given a game a chance just because it cost me nothing. The game is available for both Android and Apple devices.
