You know that bastion of network stability? No not Xbox Live; I’m talking about the PlayStation Network. According to Sony’s official twitter account, it’s down again. “We are aware,” the post states, “that some of you are having issues trying to log into PSN. We’re working to resolve the issue, and we’ll update you here.”
I wonder if some LulzSec style shenanigans are afoot—Sony did just release a controversial EULA (End User License Agreement) which waved the rights of those who agree to it, stopping them—at least theoretically—from engaging in class-action lawsuits. This seems like as good of a reason for hacktivist’s rage as any. And Sony’s no stranger to network attacks.
We’ll keep an eye on the situation, and give you updates as they occur. And you can check out their twitter here:http://twitter.com/#!/playstation
